Zakayo is married to Ann Wagaki with three children; Abigael, Enock and phoebe.
He is a trained minister of the word with a diploma in theology, TT evangelism and church planting.
He is also a farmer, mostly specializing in breeding of sheep and goats.
He is the Senior Pastor, Destiny Life church wiumiririe, from where he oversees the 6 churches in Laikipia region, Namely:
