Makola is Married to Mary and they are blessed with two children, Purity and Victor.
Samuel holds a Diploma in theology and Church planting.
He is also an Entrepreneur, Samuel is the CEO Of Purisam Enterprises LTD, and Vickmery Enterprises LTD dealing with industrial Chemicals, Beauty and cosmetics.
He is currently the Senior pastor at Destiny life Church Kyumbi and the regional Overseer Destiny life Church Machakos region giving oversight to seven growing congregations which include:

- DLC Mwala – Pst Steve Muathe
- DLC Mlimani – Pst Peter Kamwanza
- DLC kinanie – Pst Dennis Makola
- DLC Mlolongo- Pst Peter Kuraba
- DLC Mbusyani – Pst Jonathan Nyala.
Samuel is popularly called Pst Sam. He is a dedicated Farmer who loves football and reading books.
