LADIES OF PURPOSE( LoP)

We are mature Christian ladies married and unmarried (single ladies, single mothers, separated, divorced and windowed).
We exist in small groups of minimum six and a maximum of 12 members for purposes of fellowship and ministry. Groups are led by a pilot with the overall leader being referred as a captain.
Groups organize their own activities which include; visitation, baby showers, outings, prayer, evangelistic missions and hospital visits for fellowship and ministry purposes.
Specific areas of ministry for ladies of purpose include; Hospitality, mentor-ship and Deco. Celebrating each other’s achievements is an activity we enjoy as we encourage one another to achieve our dreams and aspirations. Ladies of purpose do not lag behind when our youth are getting married and we avail ourselves to pick the bride and attend weddings were we present the newly weds with LoP gifts.
You will discover therefore that the ladies of purpose minister across the board to all departments including the pastoral.

MEETINGS

All LoP hold a monthly meeting every fourth Sunday of the month immediately after the second service. The meeting takes not more than one hour.
Pilots hold their meetings every third Sunday of the month; a week before the main LoP meeting. This is for planning purposes as well as catching up with the group progress by getting group reports from the pilots.
LoP gets involved in all church events such as prayer rallies, conferences, weddings e.t.c and as such we do not plan an activity during such occasions.
